What should i bring to my first session?

Please bring your typical gear, including, but not limited to: glove, bat, cleats/turf shoes, water, and batting gloves. Your parent/guardian/caregiver is encouraged to stay throughout the duration of your session.

What size bat do i need?

Why DO you need photos/videos?

Any photos or videos taken during coaching sessions are used solely for teaching and coaching purposes only. Athletes will be able to see their mechanics and enhancements in real-time through the use of video-editing and markup. Should you elect to use some of these photos and videos for a media packet, Travis or a representative from CHECK SWING COACHING CO. would require your express consent for this service. Any photos or videos saved are deleted 6 months after the last coaching session or upon revocation of the contract of services.

how are photos/videos stored?

Any photos/videos will be taken on an iPhone and stored in Google Drive or in Google Photos. For questions regarding safety and privacy use of Google Photos, please see their consumer website. Should you elect to purchase a media packet, photos and videos may also be made available to you on a jump drive for your own use.

I want to prepare for college athletics. What should I do?

In Wisconsin, to play Division I sports, you need to qualify academically. Talk to your school coach and course counselor to discuss general guidelines/requirements, especially for out of state college athletic programs. Where do hitting sessions occur?

Most hitting sessions will occur in the community at the batting cages nearest your preference. However, we also provide sessions at an in-door batting facility on the Northside of La Crosse near the old Shopko at 2400 Rose St. in the Bridgeview Shopping Center for those who prefer an indoor location or to accommodate unfavorable weather.
